Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring UT or compact RN licensure and specialized fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Night shift schedule, 6p-6a with every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment at 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts during the 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active UT or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS (AHA), NRP, and STABLE
• BSN not required for this position
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care within the Labor & Delivery unit
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to meet radius requirements
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with the health system within the past year
• PRN employment through outside staffing firms will be considered
