Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of ICU and travel experience along with a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule, either 3x12 or 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:00
• Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
• Float to PCU, overflow, and ED hold as needed, including assignments with up to 4 patients

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required, must be in-hand before start
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either ENPC or PALS
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Complete online orientation modules, averaging 2-3 hours, during the first 16 hours of orientation
