Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer for a Days position requiring RDCS certification and 5+ years of experience with TEE, TTE, and stress echo.
Details
- Work in the Echocardiology department
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 13-week assignment
- Facility uses Philips ultrasound equipment
- Perform cardiac scanning including M-Mode, 2-D, color, Doppler, exercise testing, and TEE
- Use Lumason as the imaging agent for bubble studies
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cardiac Sonographer required
- RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- Associate's degree in radiology or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in TEE, TTE, and stress echo required
- Experience with Epic EMR is a plus
- Ability to start IVs is a plus
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment and scan patients across all aspects of cardiac imaging
- Report to the Supervisor Cardiac Sonographer
- Operate within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Boston to be considered for the local candidate rate
