Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and RCIS certification
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the Cardiovascular Tech unit, specifically the Cardiac Cath Lab
- 13-week assignment on day shift
- 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- On-call required 2 days per week and every other weekend
- Holiday call may be required
- Float expectations between EP and Cath Lab
- Uses Siemens X-ray, McKesson Hemo, and EPIC charting system
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI required
- NMTCB (NDMIRT) or RT(R) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Acute care hospital experience required
- Experience scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating Cath Lab and EP cases
Additional Information
- Perform procedures including LHC, PCI, Impella, TAVR, Watchman, EP studies, ablations, pacemakers, ICDs, BI-Vs, AAA endografts, and peripheral interventions
- Hospital-provided scrubs required
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Does not accept local candidates with permanent addresses within 80 miles of the facility
- Previous employees of this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
