Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of orthopathic outpatient experience for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Outpatient orthopedic clinic setting
- Daily caseload of approximately 12 patients
- Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Current SC or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist license required at start of contract (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification required (AHA certifications only)
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program required
- Experience with assessment, AROM/AAROM/PROM, and strength testing required
- Orthopedic specialty experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Business casual attire required; no scrub color specified
- First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
- Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility for priority consideration; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate
- Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application for consideration
- Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season (June through November, with peak activity in August and September)
