Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN requiring 1 year of experience and a Michigan RN license for a day-shift assignment covering Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties.

Details

  • Home Health setting covering Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • 40 guaranteed hours per week
  • Typical caseload of 5-6 patient visits per day
  • Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per month (every 4th weekend)
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating required across Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties, with travelers floated first
  • Full week of orientation attendance required

Requirements

  • Active Michigan RN license required
  • BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Proof of flu vaccination required for consideration, or exemption submitted within 48 hours of signing
  • Supervisor-level references required

Additional Information

  • Provide skilled home health nursing visits to patients across multiple counties
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Locals accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
  • RTO limited to no more than 10 days during the assignment
  • Previous Bronson travelers may return after 6 months; previous permanent staff may return after 1 year
  • Annual and orientation training modules are self-reported and non-billable
