Description
American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN requiring 1 year of experience and a Michigan RN license for a day-shift assignment covering Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties.
Details
- Home Health setting covering Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- Typical caseload of 5-6 patient visits per day
- Weekend requirement of 1 weekend per month (every 4th weekend)
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required across Calhoun, Kalamazoo, and Van Buren Counties, with travelers floated first
- Full week of orientation attendance required
Requirements
- Active Michigan RN license required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Proof of flu vaccination required for consideration, or exemption submitted within 48 hours of signing
- Supervisor-level references required
Additional Information
- Provide skilled home health nursing visits to patients across multiple counties
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Locals accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
- RTO limited to no more than 10 days during the assignment
- Previous Bronson travelers may return after 6 months; previous permanent staff may return after 1 year
- Annual and orientation training modules are self-reported and non-billable
