Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool night shift position requiring a CT or compact RN license and prior travel nursing experience

Details

  • Float pool position supporting Medsurg units
  • Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations
  • Night shift schedule of 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with 36 or 48 hour options
  • Every other weekend coverage required
  • Uses Omnicell medication system and Cerner documentation system
  • Utilizes SBAR communication method

Requirements

  • Active CT or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification required; NIHSS certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Skilled in blood product administration, peripheral line and PICC line care/management, and starting and maintaining IVs
  • Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and isolation precautions/PPE
  • Familiar with nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
  • Any EMR/charting system experience accepted

  • Candidates residing within 75 miles are considered local, with local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
