Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool night shift position requiring a CT or compact RN license and prior travel nursing experience
Details
- Float pool position supporting Medsurg units
- Cares for adult and geriatric patient populations
- Night shift schedule of 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with 36 or 48 hour options
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Uses Omnicell medication system and Cerner documentation system
- Utilizes SBAR communication method
Requirements
- Active CT or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required; NIHSS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Skilled in blood product administration, peripheral line and PICC line care/management, and starting and maintaining IVs
- Experience with IV therapy/phlebotomy and isolation precautions/PPE
- Familiar with nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management
- Any EMR/charting system experience accepted

- Candidates residing within 75 miles are considered local, with local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
- Professional references required for consideration
