Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring at least 1.5 years of ER experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• Work in a 54-bed Emergency Department within a hospital setting
• Unit staffed with approximately 125 team members including RNs, CNAs, paramedics, and charge nurses
• Patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Rotating weekend requirement

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1.5 years of ER experience required, 2+ years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Strong prioritization and time management skills required
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide patient-centered emergency care as part of a collaborative, team-oriented unit
• Royal blue scrub attire required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility with no local candidates accepted
