Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a seasonal travel assignment requiring at least one year of acute care experience and a CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a busy 14-room Main OR suite (1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto room, 12 multipurpose ORs) within a 408-bed hospital
• Saturday through Monday schedule with one additional rotating weekday shift
• Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses standard OR equipment and Stryker video systems
• Meditech EMR used
• On-call required one weekday from 5PM-7PM, plus weekend on-call once every 6 weeks when SSC Ortho physician is on call
• Performs procedures including angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and ortho/spine cases (no transplant procedures)

Requirements

• Active RN license (CO or compact) required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year current hospital acute care experience required
• Circulating and scrubbing experience preferred
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
