Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring a CO or compact RN license and night shift availability.

Details

• Hospital setting within a Nursing Float Pool
• Float pool assignment covering Medical Surgical, Surgical, Medical Oncology, Inpatient Rehab, Cardiac, and Neuro Trauma Spine units
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 1900-0730
• 36 hours per week
• Weekend shifts required
• Flexibility to switch to day shift may be needed
• May be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or Compact, CO)
• Current AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications required, not expiring prior to start
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across multiple units
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Float to other departments within scope of competency based on business need
• RTO requests reviewed and approved or denied based on unit needs
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before eligibility for this assignment
