Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• Schedule consists of 3-12hr day shifts, 0645-1915, Monday through Friday with no set day off
• Requires a 12-hour call shift every 3rd weekend
• Uses Epic for clinical documentation
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or Compact) required, CO or compact license accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start date
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit or service
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Operating Room specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while monitoring treatment plans
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapy supportive to patient well-being
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
