Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring 2+ years of experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work on a Medical Surgical Combination unit within a Level III Trauma Center
• Patient population includes all ages
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• On-call responsibilities as needed
• Floating may be required to similar med/surg units as needed
• Uses Omnicell for medication dispensing
• Uses Meditech EHR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• MS/Tele experience required
• IV insertion skills required
• Tennessee Abuse Registry check required prior to assignment start

• 167-bed healthcare facility serving the local community for over 60 years
• Professional demeanor expected on the unit
• Scrubs of any color accepted; casual wear not permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
