Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift assignment in an acute care setting requiring a Level 2 trauma center, Epic experience, and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Acute care setting at a Level 2 trauma center
• Provides basic and advanced cardiopulmonary care in general patient care areas under supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor
• Uses Epic EMR
• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekends as scheduled

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC required
• Must be licensed and registered with the board for respiratory care - license required if applicable
• Experience using Epic required
• Unexpired driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Functions under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor
• May be assigned advanced patient care responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the director or supervisor
• Navy blue scrubs required
• False nails not permitted
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates are not accepted
