Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN ECMO Specialist for a pediatric hospital setting requiring CardioHelp experience and PALS certification.
Details
- Serves as an ECMO Pump Specialist for pediatric patients requiring cardiac or non-cardiac ECMO support
- Manages both VA ECMO and VV ECMO patients
- Floats to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU when no ECMO patients are present, providing bedside care to cardiac, non-cardiac, or neonatal patients
- Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- 1:2 patient ratio
- Required to work every 3rd weekend
- Epic charting system experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license (NE state or compact) required
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- CardioHelp experience required
- Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
- Previous charge experience preferred
Additional Information
- Serves as pump specialist for ECMO patients and bedside ICU nurse when ECMO census is low
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent employees of the facility are not accepted for travel positions
- Must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility to be considered
