Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit night shift position requiring one year of recent Critical Care/ICU experience and critical drip titration skills.

Details

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Stepdown setting
• Night shift, 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:00
• Some weekend and holiday shifts required
• 13-week assignment with possible extension

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Minimum one year of recent Critical Care and ICU experience required
• Experience with IV starts, lab draws/sample collecting, and titrating critical drips required
• Intermediate proficiency with facility monitoring (FM) systems required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Driver's license copy required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide stepdown-level nursing care including IV starts, lab draws, and titration of critical drips
• Royal blue scrubs required and not provided
• Minimal to no RTO accommodated, especially around holidays
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will not be accepted
• Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility may be considered at a local rate
