Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring an active TN or compact RN license and 1+ years of ER experience.

Details

• >setting: Emergency Department within a hospital environment
• 14-bed unit serving patients of all ages
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses Med Host EDIS as the EMR
• Night shift schedule with a 6-on/8-off rotation, Thursday through Tuesday, approximately 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• Floating required as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and PALS
• Minimum 1+ years of RN experience required
• ER experience preferred
• Must be able to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Tennessee Abuse Registry clearance required prior to assignment start

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ED setting
• Reports to the Director of Emergency Services
• Professional demeanor expected; casual attire is not acceptable and any scrub color is permitted
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
• Bi-weekly orientation held on Mondays
