Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications along with an active NC or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Recovery Room within the Surgical Services department of a hospital setting
- Shift schedule alternates weekly between 10-hour and 12-hour shifts, starting at 0645
- On-call responsibilities are required as part of this position
- 18-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Prior PACU nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide clinically competent nursing care to the general recovery room patient population
- Work as part of the surgical services nursing team within the hospital's nursing administration structure
