Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Oncology/Medicine unit requiring an active MA RN license and at least 1 year of travel nursing experience.
Details
- Work on a 36-bed acute medical unit caring for a diverse mix of medical diagnoses requiring complex nursing care
- Oncology/Medicine unit with solid tumor oncology patients
- 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week
- Day/night rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts only
- Holiday coverage required
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Solid tumor oncology experience preferred but not required
- Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start and upon expiration
- Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Provide complex nursing care to an acutely ill medical patient population with diverse diagnoses
- Local candidates may be considered if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, MA
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
