Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel position requiring 1-2 years of Medical ICU experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

• Work in a 14-bed Medical ICU with minimal cardiac cases within a teaching hospital
• Patient population includes sepsis, respiratory, some cardiac and trauma cases
• Patient ratio of 1:2 with charge nurse free of patient assignments
• Occasional use of IABP equipment
• Uses Paragon EHR system
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend work required
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active RN license (WA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
• 1-2 years of ICU experience required
• Medical ICU experience preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel assignment
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
