Description
American T r avel er is h iring a Cath Lab / EP Techn ologist for a 13- week travel assignment, requiring 2+ years of experience and RT or CVIS certification (or RCIS eligibility for CVIS licensure in WA). - Wor k in a Level III trau ma teaching hospital's Cardiac Cath Lab, located on the 1st floor
- 2-bed cath lab with a 3-person care team
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Performs CV/PV diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Uses Philips and McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo/Maquet equipment
- Charts in Paragon (hospital EHR) and McKesson-Change Healthcare (hemo system)
- 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM plus standby
- On-call requirement of 7 shifts per 2-week pay period with variable weekend on-call hours
- Works every other weekend
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
- RT or CVIS certification required, or RCIS eligible for CVIS licensure in Washington
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
- Associate's degree minimum required
- Experience in scrub role required, monitor role experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Social security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform scrub role duties with cross-training opportunities in monitor role
- Work as part of a 3-person care team in a fast-paced interventional environment
- Green scrubs provided
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for a travel assignment
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time during the assignment
- Outgoing, adaptable, and team-oriented candidates are ideal fits for this role
