Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Ultrasound Technologist for a 17-week night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of adult and pediatric echo experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in the Echocardiography unit (Echo Tech - Adult and Peds)
- Uses MEDITECH EMR
- 12-hour night shifts from 7pm-7am, Friday through Sunday
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 16 hours of orientation provided
- Must be able to perform venous and arterial vascular studies
- Uses Philips Epiq7 and CVX equipment
- Provides STAT echo coverage as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Echo experience required
- Adult AND Pediatric echo experience required
- BLS certification required
- RCS or RDCS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Vascular tech experience preferred
- Copies of certifications, references, and driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies on adult and pediatric patients
- Manager will conduct interviews for this position
- Slate grey scrubs required
- Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for placement
- Candidates employed by the facility within the last 12 months are not eligible for placement
- 12-hour cancellation notice required every 2 weeks
