Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care hospital, requiring 2 years of experience and ARRT (MR) certification.

Details

• 3 scanner MRI department using GE 3T, GE 1.5T, and Siemens 1.5T equipment
• Performs general MRI, stroke, and trauma imaging studies
• Averages approximately 10 scans/studies per day
• May float to cover outpatient MRI
• Uses EPIC EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
• 13-week assignment with 12-hour day shifts, 7a-730p Thursday-Saturday
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Holiday coverage required; no weekend or call/standby requirement noted
• Radiologist available in-house with Radiology Supervisor and Lead Tech support

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience preferred
• BLS (AHA) and ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active state or compact license required if applicable
• Must be able to start IVs
• Acute care, Level 1 trauma hospital experience
• EPIC EMR experience

Additional Information

• Perform MRI imaging studies including general, stroke, and trauma cases
• Department-specific orientation provided, including a full week of onsite orientation
• Black scrubs provided
• Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Traveler must provide a copy of their driver's license for consideration
