Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN requiring a TX or compact license, 2+ years of experience, and prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Medical Surgical unit
• Day shift schedule with options of 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (7:00-19:00)
• Scheduled 84 hours biweekly with a 72 hour guarantee
• Must be agreeable to floating between Med/Surg units
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required, must be in-hand before start
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting offer or provide a completion plan

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit setting
• Orientation includes online training modules, averaging 2-3 hours
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility, local candidates are not accepted
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including marijuana testing, and candidates should avoid substances that could cause a positive result including CBD products
• Contract may be extended up to 20 weeks
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to accepting the offer
