Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for an outpatient clinic setting, requiring ARRT (R) certification and 2 years of general radiology experience.
Details
- Outpatient general radiology department within a clinic setting
- Performs general diagnostic X-ray and surgical radiology procedures
- Must be flexible to work any shift 7 days a week, including days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
- 13-week assignment length
- May be required to respond to an on-call pager
- Uses Epic for charting
- Must maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Graduate of an accredited radiography program
- 2 years of general radiology, diagnostic X-ray, and surgical experience required, and/or 3 total travel assignments
- Must have an active license; license required if applicable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, efficient, and multi-functional

- Patient-facing role with direct patient access
- Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
- Travelers may remain on assignment up to one year from the initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
