Description

American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for an inpatient night shift position requiring at least 1 year of med surg experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Inpatient Rehab unit setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5-7
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:15 PM to 6:45 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• Uses Epic charting system
• Not open to block scheduling accommodations

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience required
• LTAC/SNF experience also accepted
• Nursys report required (pulled within the last 2 weeks)

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for rehab patients including respiratory support, IV therapy, and cardiac monitoring
• Skills include nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, tracheostomy care, peripheral line care, and use of rapid response/code teams
• First-time travelers accepted if they have 2 years of overall experience
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days, with no more than 3 days off and no time off during the first or last week of the contract
• Former staff at this health system or its affiliated locations must have been separated for at least 7 months before returning as a traveler
