Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Oncology RN with at least 1 year of med/surg oncology experience for a day shift position requiring an active IL RN license.

Details

Work in a hospital-based Oncology unit and infusion clinic setting
Provide care for oncology and non-oncology patients receiving infusion services
Administer chemotherapy, supportive medications, hydration, and blood products
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Every other weekend required
Floating required
Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

Active IL RN license required (pending licenses not accepted)
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of med/surg with oncology experience required
Chemotherapy administration experience required
Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
Maximum RTO of 7 days, with no RTO permitted during the first or last week of the contract
Block scheduling is not accommodated
Former University of Chicago Medicine or Ingalls permanent, PRN, or traveler staff must have a 7-month gap before returning as a traveler
Non-billable orientation modules (2-3 hours) are completed during onboarding
