Description

American Traveler is hiring an ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2 years of emergency department experience and multiple advanced certifications.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• Standard ER patient population, including possible prison patients, psych patients, and psych holds
• 12-hour night shifts on a 3x12 schedule with every other weekend
• 36 hours per week
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Float across the ED and inpatient units as needed

Requirements

• Active WA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS
• BSN not required
• Charge experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across a range of acute and trauma cases
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be included for those with prior charge experience
• Holiday coverage required as part of staff rotation
