Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position on night shift, requiring a GA or compact RN license and at least 18 months of recent nursing experience.
Details
- Work on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- No on-call responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required in hand
- Minimum of 18 months of recent nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Travel experience, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications preferred
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request is allowed per assignment
- Candidates may only be submitted to one open position at a time
