Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring an active GA or compact license and 18 months of experience.
Details
- Hospital-based position within the Anesthesia PreOp Clinic setting
- Day shift schedule starting at 8:00 AM
- 13-week travel assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- Utilizes Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required in hand
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 18 months of relevant nursing experience required
- IV insertion skills required
- Experience in PACU, PAT, or preop settings required, with preference given to PAT or preop background
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
- Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests not falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 5 days
- RTO requests falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 3 days
- Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply

The cause nobody stays in touch with you. Nobody tells you anything you are lost when you worked there when it comes to information of things you should know as a Traveler when it comes to who to talk to in the department on different things it’s just all jacked up so just be mindful. It is a great place to work but at the same time management is not always around to help
