Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring 18 months of ICU experience and an active GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the Medical/Surgical ICU (MSICU) of a hospital setting
- AM shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- 30-minute meal break included in shift
- No on-call responsibilities
- May be required to float to ED, Observation, and Medical/Surgical units
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA state or Compact) required in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 18 months of ICU experience required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
- Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
- RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
- Candidates may only be submitted to one open position at a time
