Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing night shift position requiring 2 years of experience and a NE or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) setting
• Post-acute care unit with a geriatric patient population
• 58-bed facility with a 1:15 patient ratio
• Uses Point Click Care (PCC) as the charting system
• 12-hour night shifts
• Every other or every third weekend required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call or call-back responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (NE or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BSN not required
• Point Click Care (PCC) experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care setting
• Arrive one hour before shift start for building orientation, with shadowing provided when possible
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate within an 80-mile radius
