Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment requiring prior travel nursing experience.

Details

• Med/Surg West unit caring for adult and geriatric patients ages 18-100
• Patient population includes general surgery, respiratory failure, and CVA cases
• Manages heparin drips, PCA, and amiodarone administration
• 12-hour night shift schedule, 3 shifts per week
• Floating to West 3 required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active or conditional Massachusetts RN license required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Charge RN capability highly preferred
• NURSYS report and license verification pulled within the last 7 days required
• 2 recent Charge RN, Manager, or Supervisor references matching specialty required
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care within a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days
• RTO is not guaranteed once confirmed
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Must work every other major holiday
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Accepts local candidates within a 50-mile radius
