Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Tech for a night shift assignment, requiring an active Hawaii RT license (if applicable) and 2+ years of experience across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations.
Details
- Night shift from 1830 to 0700, three twelve-hour shifts weekly (36 hours)
- 15-week contract length
- Cares for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- Provides continuous airway management along with ventilator and non-invasive ventilation support
- Utilizes PB 980, PB 840, and V60 ventilators, as well as Para Pac Transport Vent
- Uses computerized charting and Pyxis medication management systems
Requirements
- Active Hawaii Respiratory Therapy license required by start of assignment (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- RRT and NRP certifications preferred
- Must be able to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start
Additional Information
- Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start for clearance appointment, which can include flu vaccination administration
- Responsibilities include physician consulting, CPR, and all aspects of respiratory care
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
