Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring an active AR or compact RN license and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in a 16-bed ICU within a hospital setting caring for adult patients (18+)
• Maintains a 2:1 patient ratio
• Utilizes IV pumps and ventilators
• Documents in Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule with every other weekend required
• On-call responsibilities required
• Floating to other units may be required
• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

• Active RN license (AR or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• RN degree required
• Active license must be verified via Nursys at time of consideration
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Facility features an 8-bed cardiovascular ICU along with cardiac rehab and outpatient therapy departments
• Provides critical care services including care related to cardiac catheterization procedures
• Royal blue scrubs required as part of dress code
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full-time
