Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Endoscopy/GI position requiring 2+ years of endoscopy experience and a WA or compact RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Endoscopy/GI unit of a Level III trauma teaching hospital
  • 2-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios
  • Adult patient population undergoing screening upper and lower endoscopy procedures
  • Uses endoscopes for procedures
  • Paragon EHR experience preferred
  • Day shift schedule (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Occasional weekend call, approximately once every 5-6 weekends
  • Call requirements include one weeknight per week and every 5-6 weekends
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license required
  • BLS certification required
  • AHA certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Endoscopy experience required
  • ADN required
  • Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care for endoscopy procedures including upper and lower GI screenings
  • Green scrub color required
  • Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
