Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab requiring cath lab experience and RCIS certification preferred.

Details

• Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
• 4x9.5-hour AM shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 4 days per week
• On-call required for weekend STEMI coverage, approximately 1-2 times per weekend
• May float to sister hospital as needed
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist required (license required if applicable)
• RCIS certification preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• IABP experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Active NJ license required
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Prepare and assist with cardiac catheterizations, PCI/STEMI procedures, peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data
• Provide procedural assistance to physicians pre, intra, and post procedure
• Assess and manage access sites and communicate findings to physicians
• Adhere to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Accepts local candidates
• Travelers may remain on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date
