Description

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for an Emergency Department/Freestanding ED position requiring 2 years of ED experience and TX or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Freestanding Emergency Department setting with 12 beds
• Staffing includes 3 RNs plus 2 mid-shifters on day shift and 3 RNs on night shift
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Standard ED equipment used
• Expanse EMR required
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM over a 13-week assignment
• Required to work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Floating required to Main ED (Tomball) and Jersey Village locations

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, and CPI/NCI certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience required
• Expanse EMR experience required
• ENPC certification preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Perform triage, assessment and reassessment, IV starts, lab draws, and EKGs
• Will train for lab procedures at the facility
• Candidates must adhere to ICARE values
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
