Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring TNCC and ENPC certifications along with a TX or compact RN license.

Details

• Freestanding Emergency Department setting with 12 beds
• Staffed with 3 RNs plus 2 mid-shifters on day shift and 3 RNs on night shift
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Uses standard ED equipment
• EMR system is Expanse
• Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Floating required to Main ED (Tomball) and Jersey Village locations
• 4 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, and CPI/NICRSIS
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Expanse EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Perform triage, patient assessment and reassessment, IV starts, lab draws, and EKGs
• Will train for lab procedures specific to the facility
• Must adhere to ICARE Values and facility Code of Conduct
• Scrub color/attire required: royal blue
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
