Description

American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring an active TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent ED experience.

Details

• Level Emergency Department with 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds
• Staffed by 77 total employees across day and night shifts
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont rapid infusers, and portable EKG machines
• Charts in Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No floating to other units required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Emergency Department experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
• One professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri candidates)
• Experience with NIH stroke assessment, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring preferred
• ENPC certification preferred

• Must demonstrate compassion, empathy, and strong team collaboration skills
• Royal blue scrub attire required per unit dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
