Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and TNCC certification on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Work in a 19-bed Emergency Services department
• Staffing includes charge RN, triage RN, bedside RNs, HUC, and tech on each shift
• Patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1
• Uses Philips monitoring equipment
• Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends required with no on-call obligations
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care including tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
• Royal blue scrub color required
• Positive, team-oriented personality preferred
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
