Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of current registered echocardiography experience for a 13-week assignment supporting a Noninvasive Cardiology unit.
Details
- Work within a Noninvasive Cardiology department performing echocardiogram studies
- Weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with flexible scheduling
- 16-20 hours per week
- Uses Epic for charting
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- RDCS or RCS certification required
- Minimum 2 years current experience as a registered echocardiography technologist
- Completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography
- Completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection
- BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
- License required if applicable
- Ability to perform quality, complete echocardiogram studies independently and unsupervised
- Strong technical judgment, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Additional Information
- Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility
- Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in patient interactions
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a care team
