Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 3+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and required California CRRT and ARRT-R licensure for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Interventional cardiac cath lab with structural heart capabilities
• 3 procedure rooms with an average daily census of 15
• Monday-Friday day shifts, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (or 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM)
• 3 call shifts required within a 2-week period
• Weekend call required every 6 weeks
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab required
• California CRRT state license required and must be in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• ACLS, ARRT-R, BLS, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
• CCI RCIS certification preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Proficiency in procedural responsibilities including venous access, vascular closure systems, hemodynamic monitoring, and left/right heart catheterization
• Experience with PCI, PTCA, TAVR, Watchman, and permanent pacemaker insertion preferred
• Experience with sterile technique, infection control, and PPE/isolation precautions required
• Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, TAVR, Watchman, and pacemaker insertions
• Responsibilities include room circulation, sterile field maintenance, equipment setup, and monitoring for life-threatening arrhythmias
• Scrubs provided
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days and must be submitted upfront
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former Providence facility employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
• Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities as needed
