Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with CCI or ARDMS certification and required acute adult and pediatric echocardiography experience.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the Echo/Cardiac department
- 4x10 hour day shifts, either 7:00 AM-5:30 PM or 9:30 AM-8:00 PM
- Every other weekend coverage required
- After-hours call required 2 nights per week from 8:00 PM-6:00 AM with a 60-minute response time
- Uses GE ultrasound equipment
- Charting completed in Epic EHR
Requirements
- CCI or ARDMS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- Acute adult and pediatric echocardiography experience required
- Pediatric echo experience strongly preferred though pediatric certification is not required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform echocardiograms on both adult and pediatric patient populations
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
- Only one holiday RTO request approved per contract, covering New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- Returning employees/travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning to this facility
- Local candidates accepted at the local rate within a 50-mile radius
