Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 18 months of recent experience, preferably in general, cardiac, and PET imaging.

Details

• Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
• Possible overtime on days with add-on procedures that extend beyond scheduled hours

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent experience in nuclear medicine, preferably within the last 3 years
• Active AHA certifications required at time of consideration with none pending
• Preferred experience in general, cardiac, and PET nuclear medicine imaging
• Active state license required at time of consideration; compact licenses accepted for start dates 1/1/23 and forward
• License required if applicable
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for; non-supervisory references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation with a maximum of two attempts to pass
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• Travelers are expected to work every other holiday
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background checks and license history must be free of any open cases or hits
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Assignment extensions available up to 18 consecutive months, followed by a required break before returning for another assignment
