Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a hospital assignment requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift, three 12-hour shifts weekly, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Options for 4x12, 3x12, or 2x12 shifts available
• 18-week assignment length, providing winter coverage, with 13-week options also considered

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start required
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty, dated within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted
• No professional license hits accepted
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
