Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring 18 months of recent SICU experience and an Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Surgical ICU (SICU) unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00am-7:30pm

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in SICU required, preferably within one location
• 18 months of recent SICU experience required, travel experience accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (co-worker references not accepted)

Additional Information

• Every other holiday coverage required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with 2 attempts maximum to pass
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility drug screening requirements
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
