Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring CA licensure, 2 years of MICU experience with mixed neuro/CCU exposure, and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work in the ICU on a night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Weekend and holiday coverage included
- Patient ratios up to 1:4
- May float up to 50% to DOU/PCU, Telemetry, or ER Hold units
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active CA RN license (permanent, current Nursys verification required)
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of MICU experience with mixed patient population including neuro and solid CCU experience
- ICU training required beyond hands-on orientation, including experience with sepsis management
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Recent hands-on Epic charting experience required
- Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
- Two professional references required at supervisor level or above (Charge Nurse references not accepted)
- Valid driver's license with proof of current, permanent address required for consideration
- Proof of vaccinations required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting with exposure to trauma, neuro, and cardiovascular cases
- Backfilling for departing staff members
- RTO must be submitted at time of application with a maximum of 7 days; no RTO accepted after submission
- Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at the local rate
