Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with prior travel experience for a busy Emergency Department, treating adult to geriatric patients on a day shift schedule.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department within a busy Emergency Department setting
• Patient population primarily adult to geriatric, with willingness to treat all ages required
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
• Weekend rotation typically every other weekend
• Allscripts/Sunrise charting system experience preferred but not required for ED

Requirements

• Current BLS certification required
• CRT certification with NBRC credentialing required
• MO State RRT license required if applicable
• Prior travel healthcare experience requested
• Must be willing to treat patients of all ages if needed

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Scrub colors accepted in any color or combination except solid black
• Smoke-free facility
• Orientation typically held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, lasting approximately 3-4 days
• Day one drug screening conducted by facility in addition to agency compliance screening prior to starting on the floor
• 7-panel drug and alcohol screening required prior to start
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility will not be accepted
