Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with prior travel experience for a busy Emergency Department, treating adult to geriatric patients on a day shift schedule.
Details
- Respiratory Therapy department within a busy Emergency Department setting
- Patient population primarily adult to geriatric, with willingness to treat all ages required
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
- Weekend rotation typically every other weekend
- Allscripts/Sunrise charting system experience preferred but not required for ED
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- CRT certification with NBRC credentialing required
- MO State RRT license required if applicable
- Prior travel healthcare experience requested
- Must be willing to treat patients of all ages if needed
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy services in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
- Scrub colors accepted in any color or combination except solid black
- Smoke-free facility
- Orientation typically held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month, lasting approximately 3-4 days
- Day one drug screening conducted by facility in addition to agency compliance screening prior to starting on the floor
- 7-panel drug and alcohol screening required prior to start
- Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility will not be accepted
