Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring 18 months of specialty experience and strong orthopedic and neurological surgical skills.

Details

• Operating Room unit at an orthopedics and spine hospital
• AM shift, 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts with 30-minute meal duration
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum 18 months of OR experience within the past 3 years
• Strong orthopedic and neurological surgical skills required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care for orthopedic and neurological surgical cases
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only one holiday request allowed
