Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a NICU/PICU night shift position requiring 2 years of specialty experience and ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

  • Work in the NICU/PICU unit of a children's hospital
  • Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • Weekend coverage required at least every other Sunday
  • Holiday coverage required
  • May float within the hospital, potentially to another campus
  • Epic charting experience preferred

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU/PICU specialty
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Valid State License required if applicable (Single State OH or Multi-State License)
  • Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required for consideration
  • No previous license issues on background check

Additional Information

  • Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients
  • First-time travelers will be considered as long as they meet the 2 years of specialty experience requirement
  • RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days total
  • No block scheduling requests accepted, except for weekend-only blocks (Friday-Sunday)
  • Previous employees of this facility are ineligible to reapply for contract positions within 1 year of their termination date
  • Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and subject to local pay rates
  • Additional background check and fingerprinting required onsite on first day of assignment
