Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a day shift hospital position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 18-20 week contract options available

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (preferred)
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required, preferably within the last 3 years
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• No pending certifications accepted; must be active at time of consideration
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Background check and license must be free of any hits for consideration

Additional Information

• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Expected to work every other holiday
• Accepts local candidates at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to any facility within this health system
• Travelers who remain on continuous contract for at least 1 year, or return in a subsequent calendar year, may be required to complete annual hands-on competency training
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
